Our accommodations are yet another blessing. We are staying 10 minutes from the hospital in Menlo Park at the lovely home of Leslie Neumarker--the mother of a friend at work. The home is a beautiful English Tudor complete with an authentic English garden with an attention to detail that one rarely sees these days.
Lisa is doing great. My heart aches for her in having to recover from her pregnancy and delivery under such circumstances. I love her more now than I ever thought possible. And after five kids and 40 years, she is still one hot mama.
That's it for now. No new news. All is well, and we're enjoying our baby. We have no idea if we're a day, a week, or heaven forbid, a month away from surgery. We're just happy she's stable. If you see our kids, give them a hug and a kiss from their mom and dad.

Jeff and Lisa,
Darin and I just spent a few minutes reading about Abigail. She is such a beautiful girl. Thanks for sharing her tender story and your sweet family experiences. We will certainly keep you all in our prayers. We hugged our kids a little tighter tonight. We pray that the surgery will be soon and that it will go perfectly.
I just heard about your dear Abigail from Wendi. You are all in our prayers and I look forward to reading of her progress.
Love to you all!!
Jeff and Lisa,
Just read your updates about your sweet little Abigail (and she is really so beautiful!!!)
Sending my thoughts and prayers to you guys during this difficult time.
3 years ago Joel's baby was born with a severe heart aorta and valve problems and had open heart surgery at Primary childrens right after she was born, she is now a healthy and active little 3 year old girl with no longer any heart problems...(by the way girls are stronger, it's true)
You are in one best hospital in the country with the top surgeons in the world. It's good to know she is in excellent hands and the fact that most of Provo is praying for her also helps. Thanks for sharing her story.
one more thing, love the story about her name and her middle name
Okay, just one more thing...I promise. So incredible that she got a blessing from Pres. Eyring. wow, wow, and wow. She is a special girl!
That top picture of Abigail is so cute, she is darling and looks so much like Emma.
Hi Jeff and Lisa, I'm so glad you started the blog. I've been calling Cynthia way too much to find out details. My heart really goes out to you and it brings back so many memories--good memories, by the way. Very good memories. Enjoy the moment. Your kids will be fine. But I know how it breaks your hearts to be divided for now. We are certainly praying for you and your family for success in tomorrow's surgery. Please call if you need anything. Are you trying to pump so you can nurse? That's difficult, but if so, I could give some advice on that too. Love, Kathy Shumway
